The quote above is taken directly from The U.S. Department of Labor's OSHA website. In 2001, a new standard went into effect:
Employers are held responsible and are required by law to provide their forklift operators with proper safety training. OSHA can impose fines of $7,000 to $70,000 per safety violation.
Satisfy OSHA's requirements with a CMH Forklift Safety Training Course at our Oakland, CA location. Each 4-hour course includes rules of operation, student manuals, films, written test and certificates. There is no hands-on training in this classroom course.
Class is held from 8:30 AM to 12:30 AM. Classroom instruction per OSHA's requirements – operators must still be evaluated on the forklift type they will use to do their job in the workplace.
The course is offered as PASS/FAIL. Students are provided with TEST RESULTS.
Price: $115.00 (at CMH) per student, no student minimum.
